Nourish & Balance - Fall Facial Ritual (returns October 2024)

The time is here to turn up your inner and outer glow in balance with nature!

Autumn Glow’s fresh botanical ingredients exfoliate and deeply moisturize, repairing summer’s damage and providing deep hydration for the coming winter. Freshly harvested citrus and florals, warming spices, gentle herbs and earthy oils nourish skin and soul with nutrients and aromatherapy that bring a deep sense of calmness and grounding. You’ll shed excess and begin anew in tandem with the trees around you, leaving you with aglow from the inside out.

STEP 1 - SCRUB (.5 oz)

You’ll begin your ritual with pure yumminess - a citrus and honey scrub to shed, soften, let go and get cozy while you consciously thank the bees for their work, pondering the many trips to the flowers it took to make this delicious deep rich honey. Ingredients (all organic): raw honey from California, turmeric root, dark brown sugar, meyer lemon juice, lemon balm hydrosol, aloe vera hydrosol, sunflower oil, avocado oil

STEP 2 - STEAM (2 oz)

You’ll sit over your fresh botanicals and breathe in the warming spices and bright flowers of autumn harvest as you relax and visualize the trees around your home shedding their leaves, their roots nurtured with the recently tilled soil and bursting with life under ground. Strain and sip during next steps (we also love to add in just a bit of the honey scrub from the first step). Ingredients (wild-harvested and organic): sunflower, chamomile, marigold, star anise, nutmeg, cinnamon, clove

STEP 3 - MASK (.5 oz)

Next up, a pumpkin spice and coconut milk face mask which is perhaps our favorite of the entire year, a timeless classic that we look forward to coming back to every Fall. As your mask dries a journal prompt will guide you to reflect on the “harvests” of your year and to set a few goals for the new harvest cycle. Ingredients (organic and wild-harvested): fresh sugar pie pumpkin, aloe vera hydrosol, sunflower oil, vanilla bean, nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, fresh cage-free egg white, xanthan gum

STEP 4 - TONER (10 ml)

After removing the mask you’ll tone, hydrate and balance with a chamomile hydrosol, grounding you in new depths of calm. Chamomile hydrosol is both softening and brightening - the perfect combination for glow. Ingredients (wild-harvested): lemon balm hydrosol (freshly distilled in July)

STEP 5 - CREAM (.5 oz)

Finish with a smooth, thick moisturizing goats milk cream with apple, vanilla and a bit more autumn spice for good measure. Your being ends the facial soft, grounded and calm - inside and out. Leaves of white sage and a mini-spritzer of mitti attar (baked clay essential oil) from India to cleanse your space and begin your ritual. Mitti attar is the scent of a fresh rain hitting a dry desert, the perfect scent to celebrate the first rains of autumn.
