our herbal kitchen
Our products are made in-house to achieve the optimal skin care benefits from fresh seasonal ingredients including ripe fruits and newly harvested herbs, flowers and spices. We craft hydrosols and cold pressed oil infusions in our herbal kitchen to ensure purity, quality and freshness. Every ingredient has a skin care purpose - we do not use synthetics, fillers, preservatives or alcohol.
zero-waste packaging
Our packaging is handcrafted with natural plant dyes and inks, biodegradable paperboard, organic cotton muslin and dried or fresh foraged plant materials. Every bit of our packaging and shipping materials can be reused or recycled, including the thermal pads and ice packs we use for refrigerated shipping. Every step of our packaging design process is inspired by nature with respect and sustainability.
sourced to the root
We source directly from organic farms; we wild-harvest from personal organic gardens and arboretums; and we forage by hand in wild ecosystems. All of our ingredients are botanicals with few thoughtful exceptions: we also responsibly source honey and beeswax from Big Island Bees, organic eggs from cage free chickens at local farms, and raw goats milk from happy goat mamas.
